Wide-Grip Vertical Press: independent arms and converging range of motion

The Fitness Tech Pro Series Wide-Grip Vertical Press plate-loaded lever machine is a chest press with a guided trajectory, designed to isolate and strengthen the pectorals and anterior deltoids. The wide side handles direct the effort toward the chest and replicate the feel of free weights with the control provided by a machine.

It is a suitable option for training centers, sports clubs, and facilities with regular users, and is accessible to all levels thanks to its comfortable entry and exit. The inclined backrest with padded headrest supports the user during the press, while the seat height is adjusted using a hydraulic gas spring and lever.

The frame combines Q235 steel and 50 × 100 × 3 mm oval tubing with a double layer of electrostatic powder coating, a construction designed to maintain its appearance and stability with continued facility use.

Independent arms with converging range of motion

Each lever arm works independently, so each side follows its own path and the dominant side cannot compensate for the weaker one. The converging movement brings the handles toward the center during the press, follows the natural mechanics of the pectorals, and promotes a more complete contraction at the end of the movement.

Forward starting position to protect the shoulder

The handles always start in a forward position, allowing users to take hold of them without placing the shoulder under backward tension at the start of the exercise. The load is mounted with Olympic plates on both sleeves, and the six frame-mounted holders store plates that are not in use.
